About LSH and the LSH Standards


Liverpool Student Homes (LSH) is part of the University of Liverpool but is also funded by Liverpool John Moores University, Liverpool Hope University, LIPA and Liverpool Community College. Our aim is to offer a wide choice and to help all students in Liverpool to find good quality private accommodation.

The service has been recognised in the city as being one of the main driving factors in improving standards in student accommodation.

We advertise a whole range of accommodation including large city developments, traditional houses, self-contained flats/studios, rooms in shared properties, short-term accommodation, owner occupier (Homestay properties).

The LSH Standards is a set of property guidelines and requirements that you will need to meet in order to advertise your accommodation with us. The purpose of the Standards is to ensure that registered properties all meet a minimum quality standard and is something that sets us apart from other accommodation providers.

Prices to register and advertise properties

Registration of a property is for 12 months within one Academic Year. New registered landlords are charged a one of fee of £10 in addition to registration charges, this is for the property inspection and new landlord registration pack containing; a copy of The Landlord Handbook, 2 x Assured Shorthold Tenancy Agreementsand 2 x Notice to Quit.

The prices below are to advertise your accommodation for the Academic Year 2013/2014, therefore only accommodation with availability for tenancies during the period September 2013 to June 2014 can be advertised.

Registration and advertising of properties for the Academic Year 2014/2015 will start from Monday 2nd December 2013. You can choose when you wish to advertise your accommodation.

Details may be submitted over the Internet. Please forward copies of your current Gas Safe Register certificate and NICIEIC certificate and also a copy of the HMO certificate ( if applicable).
